Love Your Heart

❤ 𝓗𝓪𝓹𝓹𝔂 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓱 💙
🔴 Seven ways to love your heart
✅ 1. Get active.
It doesn’t have to cost a thing…try brisk walking, swimming, cycling, putting in a workout video, shooting some hoops or dancing with your kids.

✅ 2. Eat better.
Nutrient-packed foods are a powerful weapon against heart disease.
Heart-healthy (and tasty!) choices abound, like low-fat dairy, whole grains, poultry and fish, nuts and legumes, and lots of fruits and veggies.

✅ 3. Lose weight.
Extra body fat, and a waist measurement over 35 inches for women and 40 inches for men, can up your risk for heart disease. Body mass index (BMI) is a helpful tool to check if you’re at a healthy weight.
A high BMI can mean a higher risk for a number of medical conditions.

✅ 4. Stop smoking.
No matter how long you’ve smoked, quitting will do your heart, lungs, blood vessels and bones good!

✅ 5. Manage blood pressure.
High blood pressure takes the heart work harder and injures arteries.
The “silent killer” can lead to heart attack, stroke or kidney disease. It has no signs, so have your blood pressure checked regularly.
Ask your doctor how regular exercise and a healthy diet can help lower your blood pressure.

✅ 6. Control cholesterol.
High cholesterol causes plaque to build up in your arteries, and as cholesterol levels rise, so does your heart risk.
Eating healthy and staying active can help lower your cholesterol level.

✅ 7. Reduce blood sugar.
Complications of diabetes can include heart attack and stroke, and over time high levels of blood sugar can add to your risk.
Follow your doctor’s advice about medications and healthy food choices.

🔴 What is the relationship between heart and kidney?
✅ The heart pumps blood filled with oxygen through all parts of your body, including the kidneys.
✅ The kidneys clean the blood, removing waste products and extra water. Without the kidneys, your blood would have too much waste and water.
❌ Diseases in the kidneys can affect the heart. It is common for people with chronic kidney disease or end-stage kidney disease to develop heart disease, including heart attack or heart failure.

KIDNEY DISEASE AWARENESS

❌ #kidneydisease #awareness 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦:

Chronic kidney disease occurs when a disease or condition impairs kidney function, causing kidney damage to worsen over several months or years.

❌ 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:

🔴 Diabetes
Diabetic kidney disease is a type of kidney disease caused by diabetes. Diabetes is the leading cause of kidney disease.
High blood glucose, also called blood sugar, can damage the blood vessels in your kidneys. When the blood vessels are damaged, they don’t work as well. Many people with diabetes also develop high blood pressure, which can also damage your kidneys.

🔴 High blood pressure

🔴 Heart and blood vessel (cardiovascular) disease

🔴 Smoking

🔴 Obesity

🔴 Being African-American, Native American or Asian-American

🔴 Family history of kidney disease

🔴 Abnormal kidney structure

🔴 Older age

✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

✅ To reduce your risk of developing kidney disease:

🔴 Follow instructions on over-the-counter medications.
When using nonprescription pain relievers, such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) and acetaminophen (Tylenol, others), follow the instructions on the package. Taking too many pain relievers could lead to kidney damage and generally should be avoided if you have kidney disease. Ask your doctor whether these drugs are safe for you.

🔴 Maintain a healthy weight. If you're at a healthy weight, work to maintain it by being physically active most days of the week.
If you need to lose weight, talk with your doctor about strategies for healthy weight loss. Often this involves increasing daily physical activity and reducing calories.

🔴 Don't smoke.
Cigarette smoking can damage your kidneys and make existing kidney damage worse. If you're a smoker, talk to your doctor about strategies for quitting smoking. Support groups, counseling and medications can all help you to stop.

🔴 Manage your medical conditions with your doctor's help.
If you have diseases or conditions that increase your risk of kidney disease, work with your doctor to control them. Ask your doctor about tests to look for signs of kidney damage.

KIDNEY FUNCTION

🔴 What tests do doctors use to diagnose and monitor kidney disease?
✅ A blood test that checks how well your kidneys are filtering your blood, called GFR.
GFR stands for glomerular filtration rate.
✅ A urine test to check for albumin.
Albumin is a protein that can pass into the urine when the kidneys are damaged.

🔴 How to test Kidney Function at home (CREATININE LEVELS included): https://youtu.be/simee44AoL4
Creatinine is a waste product that is produced by your muscles. It is typically removed through the kidneys.
The normal range for creatinine in the blood may be 0.84 to 1.21 milligrams per deciliter.

🔴 How to Avoid Dialysis and Lower Creatinine: https://youtu.be/v1dgkB4AJRk

🔴 Foods to Avoid with Kidney Disease: https://youtu.be/B8NhGtoBbE4

🔴 Foods to Eat: https://youtu.be/sKuFjctptDo

❌ What are the worst things for kidneys?

1. Overusing Painkillers
Over the counter pain medicines, such as NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), may alleviate your aches and pains, but they can harm the kidneys, especially if you already have kidney disease.
🔴 How to STOP the PAIN without NSAIDS: https://youtu.be/KlUmp-hLq2c
2. Abusing the Salt Shaker
Diets high in salt are high in sodium, which can increase blood pressure and, in turn, harm your kidneys.
3. Eating Processed Foods
4. Not Drinking Enough Water
5. Missing Out on Sleep
6. Eating Too Much Meat
7. Eating Too Many Foods High in Sugar
8. SMOKING
9. Drinking Alcohol in Excess
10. Sitting Still
Sitting for long periods of time has now been linked to the development of kidney disease. Although researchers don’t know yet why or how sedentary time or physical activity directly impact kidney health, it is known that greater physical activity is associated with  improved blood pressure and glucose metabolism, both important factors in kidney health.

RIGHT PROTEIN TO BEAT CKD

🔴 [Lower Creatinine] This Treatment STOP CKD Stage 4 & 5 (VLPD Treatment) https://youtu.be/v1dgkB4AJRk

🔴 Right Protein - BEAT CKD - Why Your Renal Diet Needs Right Protein https://youtu.be/Rmqa6790qy4

🔴 About the VLPD
There's a therapy for advanced stage kidney disease, called VLPD treatment - which is almost never prescribed in the US - and which is showing impressive results in those places where it is actually used.
VLPD is an underutilized therapy in America that could lower your creatinine levels and that's supported by medical literature.
This therapy is already in use, AT LEAST at some degree, in Europe.
This kind of treatment may be exactly what many of you, especially those in stage 4 and 5 are looking for.

🔴 How does protein affect the kidneys?
Having too much protein can cause waste to build up in your blood. Your kidneys may not be able to remove all the extra waste. It is important to eat the right amount of protein each day. The amount of protein you need is based on your body size, your kidney problem, and the amount of protein that may be in your urine.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE & KIDNEY DISEASE

🔴 High blood pressure is the #2 cause of kidney failure. High blood pressure can be both a cause of kidney disease and a symptom of kidney disease.

🔴 How is kidney function related to blood pressure?
● Your kidneys play a key role in keeping your blood pressure in a healthy range. Diseased kidneys are less able to help regulate blood pressure. As a result, blood pressure increases.

🔴 Can kidney problems cause high blood pressure?
● Renal hypertension, also called renovascular hypertension, is elevated blood pressure caused by kidney disease. It can usually be controlled by blood pressure drugs.

🔴 Blood pressure readings are given as two numbers.
● The top number is called systolic blood pressure. The bottom number is called diastolic blood pressure. For example, 120 over 80 (written as 120/80 mm Hg).

🔴 Causes
Many factors can affect blood pressure, including:
● The amount of water and salt you have in your body
● The condition of your kidneys, nervous system, or blood vessels
● Your hormone levels

🔴 How to Lower Blood Pressure: https://youtu.be/LJAgIpLJL3k
🔴 Do This And in Just 10 Minutes Your Blood Pressure Will Drop! https://youtu.be/RD_bbpRtY5A
🔴 EXERCISE! EXERCISE! EXERCISE! https://youtu.be/pcEnpDBPskc

🔴 You have a higher risk of high blood pressure if you:
● Are African American
● Are obese
● Are often stressed or anxious
● Drink too much alcohol (more than 1 drink per day for women and more than 2 drinks per day for men)
● Eat too much salt
● Have a family history of high blood pressure
● Have diabetes
● Smoke

🔴 Here are 17 effective ways to lower your blood pressure levels:
● Increase activity and exercise more
● Lose weight if you're overweight
● Cut back on sugar and refined carbohydrates
● Eat more potassium and less sodium
● Eat less processed food
● Stop smoking
● Reduce excess stress
● Try meditation or yoga

🔴 What foods should I eat less of?
● Butter and margarine.
● Regular salad dressings.
● Fatty meats.
● Whole milk dairy products.
● Fried foods.
● Salted snacks.
● Canned soups.
● Fast foods.
● Deli meats.

🔴 How does salt increase blood pressure?
● When you eat too much salt, which contains sodium, your body holds extra water to "wash" the salt from your body. In some people, this may cause blood pressure to rise. The added water puts stress on your heart and blood vessels.

Test Your Kidneys at Home for 5$!

🔴 Test Creatinine Levels, Kidney Function, Diabetes at home for 5$! https://youtu.be/simee44AoL4

Today getting tested for kidney problems has become incredibly difficult and, in some cases,

even dangerous!
Well... this could be finally over!
In today's video I'll show you ho to get tested for kidney function, creatinine levels and

proteinuria at home for just 5$!

How to READ your Values:

🔴 PRO = Protein in urine
A normal amount of albumin in your urine is less than 30 mg/g. Anything above 30 mg/g may

mean you have kidney disease.

🔴 LEU = Leukocytes in urine
An unusually high number of leukocytes in the urine indicates inflammation or infection along

the urinary tract (URINARY TRACT INFECTION), often in the bladder or kidney.

🔴 URO = Urobilinogen in Urine
If your test results show a higher-than-normal level of urobilinogen, it may indicate:
● Hepatitis
● Cirrhosis
● Liver damage due to drugs
● Hemolytic anemia, a condition in which red blood cells are destroyed before they can be

replaced. This leaves the body without enough healthy red blood cells.

🔴 pH Levels
The pH scale, ranges from 0 (strongly acidic) to 14 (strongly basic or alkaline). A pH of 7.0, in

the middle of this scale, is neutral. Usually the body maintains the pH of blood close to 7.40.

🔴 GLU = Blood sugar levels
A blood sugar level less than 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L) is normal.
A reading of more than 200 mg/dL (11.1 mmol/L) after two hours indicates diabetes. A

reading between 140 and 199 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L and 11.0 mmol/L) indicates prediabetes.

🔴 KET = Ketone levels
1.6 to 3.0 mmol/L – a high level of ketones and could present a risk of ketoacidosis. It is

advisable to contact your healthcare team for advice. Above 3.0 mmol/L – a dangerous level

of ketones which will require immediate medical care.

For more...
Watch the video on top.

Slowing the progression of CKD

🔴 Strategies for slowing progression:

● Improved blood pressure control. Controlling blood pressure is probably the most effective intervention to slow progressive kidney disease.
● ACE inhibitors/ARBs for blood pressure control and to reduce albuminuria.
● Blood glucose control for patients with diabetes.

🔴 What causes kidney function to slow down?

Smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar (diabetes) all harm the kidneys and can lead to chronic kidney disease.
If you are leading a heart-healthy lifestyle (regular exercise and a nutritious plant-based diet, alkaline diet), that will help protect your kidneys.

🔴 Fact: if you have symptoms such as swelling in the legs and numb, tingling or constantly

cold extremities, it may be due to poor blood circulation.
And while this is a problem especially common in people with kidney disease, you may be

surprised at how quickly you can improve it, with the remedies and good habits of today's

video.

🔴 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯 𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝟯 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗱𝘀!
Ok, I must have recommended a diet rich in omega 3s or supplementation at least 100 times

in my videos, so I won't go too much in depth about this one.
Especially because I think that everyone of you guys watching me right now is already getting

their recommended daily intake of this essential nutrient.
If you aren't, consider that omega 3s have powerful, noticeable effects on your blood

circulation.
They effectively lower triglyceride levels and increase good cholesterol levels, meaning that

your blood will be able to travel more freely in the body.
Isn't that what we all want?
And there are also studies suggesting that reaching the recommended daily intake of omega

3s may even slow down the progression of kidney disease.
Yes Omega 3s are one of the most powerful remedies you can find.
